Privacy policy

The following privacy policy has been created on January 10th, 2023 and remains effective unless otherwise stated. All concerned parties will be notified via update of this page of any changes in the privacy policy regarding an extension of the collection and use of private data.

Information Collection and Use

Luminforum is an educational platform which operates on a website that can be accessed through luminforum.com domain. The domain is privately owned. Website server is hosted by a service provider based in Poland.

Access to all contents of the website itself is free of charge. Any commercial services or products that could be issued in the future will be made available via third party services in order to maintain the status of luminforum.com as an entity that does not process private data. 

Luminforum will accept voluntary donations, which can be made via third party service Buy Me a Coffee. Additional benefits, such as access to additional educational content, can be given to selected patrons.

Collecting user data with the purpose of selling it to generate profit is not, nor will ever be one of the objectives of this project.

For a better experience while using luminforum.com, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name and e-mail address. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you. This applies specifically to the use of contact form available on the website.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Our website currently does not use cookies to employ any tracking practices. Should any kind of service be added in the future (e.g. implementation of analytics) users will be notified of that via a suitable, GDPR compliant notification with the option to exercise their rights regarding their private data.
