Luminforum is an independent project run by a lighting enthusiast with the help of his friends. Our aim is not to profit, but first and foremost to highlight the importance of light in our daily lives, entertain and educate the public.

As of today, all the costs of running a website (hosting, domain, etc.) are covered by the author. Luminforum is free of conventional ads and we intend to keep it that way.  Should we ever decide to collaborate with someone to produce sponsored content, our readers will be notified of that in the description of a given article. In the end, our goal is to provide unbiased, interesting educational content.
